How clients choose reminders
When reminders are available, signed-in clients can enter their phone number in the appointment details step and separately choose the optional reminder checkbox. It starts unchecked. Clients can book without checking it; agreeing to appointment policies is a separate choice.
Consent is recorded for the signed-in client, the phone number, and that appointment. Changing the phone number clears the checkbox so the client can choose again. A haircut or appointment does not require SMS consent.
Text reminders are currently inactive. The example below documents the consent wording; it does not subscribe you or send a text.

Stop, restart, or get help
Reply STOP to stop texts from the sending number. Reply START to resubscribe after opting out. A reminder still requires an opted-in appointment. Reply HELP for messaging help, or contact Lee using the details below.
A reminder uses the saved appointment time. Rescheduling updates the scheduled reminder; cancellation cancels it. Carrier or device delays can affect receipt, so keep track of your appointment even if a reminder does not arrive.
